Maya - 40x60cm - acrylic on stretched canvas - 2013
This painting went up on the wall in a sweet little boys room in Germany.
Maya was an injured tiny street kitty, alone and miserable, found and rescued by my daughter-in-law. She took her to the vet, she mothered her, she fed her with a syringe, she cared for her and loved her. Maya is a big gorgeous cat now, and always has a red bow on her collar. :-)
What a wonderful story, and a wonderful painting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet story. She looks happy with her red bow.

Dear greeting Christiene.
How happy Maya is now! Your painting shows it. She was so lucky to have been found by your daughter-in-law who is loving and compassionate. I can imagine the smiles of a boy in Germany.
